DRESS CODE

Dress Code Requirements:
-
The official dress code for the event is ‘Alternative’. This is quite a broad range of clothing to create an outfit from than spans a number of genres, which can include the following items (but is not limited to):
-
Latex, leather, fetish, club kid, alt-rave, lolita, harajuku, fairycore, PVC, goth, cybergoth, rivethead, techwear, punk, steampunk, lingerie, semi-nude, nudity, pup/pony, furry/scaly, cosplay, dark militaria, dark/black haute, etc.
-
-
Our baseline standard is that attendees wear ALL BLACK as a minimum if you're wearing plain clothing such as black cargo trousers, jeans or leggings and a black top, t-shirt or shirt. This includes your shoes.
Examples: Acceptable Styles & Outfits
Prohibited Dress:
-
Clothing that includes the following items do NOT meet our dress code requirements:
-
Standard business casual or formal business wear, blue jeans, white trainers, chinos or khakis, non-alt sportswear such as full branded tracksuits and football shirts/strips.
-
As an example, someone wearing a salmon pink shirt, a grey blazer, blue jeans and brown brogues does not meet the requirements as that would be deemed as ‘standard’ business casual wear.
-
But someone wearing a black pinstripe suit with a black O-ringed shirt underneath with electric purple PVC creepers would generally be considered ‘alternative’ and therefore meets our dress code requirements.
-
-
-
Items of clothing that have symbols, insignia or references to harmful groups or ideologies are prohibited.
-
Example: 1939 Iron Crosses, SS Lightning Bolts, Death's Head skull, Swastikas, etc.
-
-
If you’re not sure if an outfit is appropriate, please send a message to the Fiendish staff on Discord, Facebook or Fetlife.
